• Ride information, including requests, offers, assignments, pickup and destination locations, trip status, ride history, and support messages.
• Precise or approximate device location when you choose to use location-based ride-request, pickup, safety, trip-tracking, or driver-operation features.
• Device and app information, including device identifiers, push notification tokens, operating system, app version, diagnostics, and security events.
• Communications and preferences you submit through the app or to our support team.

We use information to:

• authenticate your account and provide ride-request and driver-operation features;
• connect riders with drivers and support trip operations;
• provide location, safety, notification, and support features;
• maintain service reliability, prevent fraud, and protect users;
• comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes; and
• improve Hytch products and communicate service-related updates.

We share information only as needed to operate the service. This may include sharing trip details with riders and assigned drivers, authorized organizations arranging transportation, infrastructure and communication providers, professional advisers, and public authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information.

Hytch Ride SMS Verification: Hytch Ride uses phone numbers to deliver requested verification messages and does not use this SMS program for marketing.

Hytch Ride Operational Ride Updates: Hytch Ride uses the submitted mobile number and booking-scoped consent evidence only to deliver authorized operational ride updates. This program does not authorize marketing or promotional messages.

Mobile information, including phone numbers, and SMS opt-in and consent data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share this information with service providers acting on our behalf only as needed to deliver the requested SMS programs, maintain message delivery and security, or comply with law. This limited operational sharing does not permit marketing or promotional use. Review the verification SMS Terms and the operational SMS Terms for program details.

Location permission is optional, but disabling it may prevent location-based pickup, trip-tracking, or driver-operation features from working. You can change location permissions in your device settings.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including safety, fraud prevention, contractual, and legal requirements. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal information. You may also change device permissions and notification preferences at any time. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate safety and security purposes.

Hytch Rider and Hytch Driver are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.
